:

Kamloops, take the paved Pinantan Road for 19 km to the campground,
located on the north side of Paul Lake, just east of the giant
bluff overlooking the lake. The Paul Lake group site is located
at the west end of the lake. To reach it follow signs located

from the group site, approximately 2 km east along the south
side of the lake at the end of the road.
This park offers 90 vehicle accessible campsites nestled amongst
the trees on a first-come, first-served basis - campsite reservations

be around later to collect camping fees and provide the option
to purchase firewood.

when snow impedes travel through the park, and open in the
spring when snow fully leaves the roadways. This date varies,
however, you can generally count on the gates being open on
May 1st and closed by mid November.

What is good to know :
The park has over 7 km of hiking trails. The trails take you
from the lakeshore or the campground up a gentle grade through
a mature Douglas-fir forest to the summit of Gibralter Rock,
900 meters in elevation. The last portion of the trail (about
300 metres) is somewhat steep but there are rest stops along
the way. Be aware of steep cliffs near the top of Gibraltar
Rock trail. The summit gives spectacular views of the lake
and Harper Mountain, as well as a bird’s eye view of
ospreys, swallows and the rare white-throated swift. into
Paul Lake annually.
