Steelhead Provincial Park

What you need to know :
Located 40 km west of Kamloops on Highway #1 at the southwest end of Kamloops Lake just west of the community of Savona.
Steelhead offers 42 campsites, 22 campsites overlook the lake, and 10 of these are supplied with water and power hook-ups. Twelve informal sites are located in a field and are roomy enough for large vehicles to pull through as well as large groups. All sites will accommodate small to large camping units. Amenities can be found in Savona, a 2-minute drive from the campground.
Services at Steelhead are offered from mid April to Thanksgiving, but may vary due to weather conditions. During this time the gates are always open, so don't worry about showing up late. Seasonally, the gates at Steelhead Provincial Park are closed in mid November and open again in mid April. The costs for the powered sites are $19.00/night and $9.50/night for BC Seniors during the shoulder season (following the day after Labour Day and prior to June 15th). The costs for the non- powered sites are $17.00/night and $8.50/night for BC Seniors.
